Operable 3/4 And 1 Hr. Fire Rated Steel Windows
The Fyre-Tec horizontal sliding windows are smooth operating with right or left sash operation options available. This assembly can be glazed with 3/4- or 1-hour Underwriter’s Laboratory rated protection. The window is designed and tested to be self-closing in the advent of heat rise from nearby combustion or optionally an alarm signal. Ideal for inclusion in construction when required by NFPA 80 and building code requirements for protective openings in rated walls.
- Narrow site-line allows larger glass and daylight openings
- Manufactured from galvanized cold rolled steel
- Frames and inserts fabricated with corners mitered and secured by welding
- Full length mechanical interlock at meeting rail
- Standard glazing material 3/4 hour fire rated (Optional 1-hour rating with ceramic glazing)
- Adjustable roller assemblies on sliding insert with automatic heat activated closures
- True muntins, when required, integral (welded) to inserts
- Pile-type weather-stripping with integral sealing fin around entire perimeter of inserts (Optional weather seal for high performance windows)
- Snap-lock glazing retainers secured with machine screws
- Weeps incorporated into sill members
- Conform to current AAMA HS-C30 Specifications (Optional conformance to HS-C50)
- Finished with weather resistant powder coating in nine standard colors
- Maximun UL approved size for 900 Series: 6050
- Sub-frame or fin mounting systems supplied with all windows
