Operable 3/4 Hr. Fire Rated Steel Windows
The Fyre-Tec projected window is a top-hinged window that swings the bottom edges of the sash outward and is designed especially to admit air while excluding rain. This window is offered in a 3/4 hour Underwriter's Laboratory rated protection. The window is designed and tested to be self-closing in the advent of heat rise from nearby combustion. Ideal for inclusion in NFPA 80 and building code requirements for protective openings in rated walls.
- Insert inset into the frame providing a flush exterior surface
- Manufactured from galvanized cold rolled steel
- Frames and inserts fabricated with corners mitered and secured by welding
- Standard glazing material 3/4 hour fire rated
- Automatic fusible link heat activated closure
- Heavy duty, stainless steel, four-bar hinges
- Double weather-stripping around entire perimeter of insert
- May be "zero" mulled with fixed Series 950 for larger openings
- Glazing retainers secured with machine screws
- Finished with weather resistant powder coating in nine standard colors
- Sub-frame mounting systems supplied with all windows
- Underwriters Laboratories tested and classified
